CONSTABLE (PART-TIME) – ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
This position is responsible for serving papers filed with the Magistrate Court as well as providing security and other assistance during court hearings. Duties will also include checking in parties prior to hearings, maintaining order in the courtroom, assisting with constable-assisted move-outs and providing bank escort services for Court staff. Some related experience and/or knowledge of the judicial system, including Magistrate Court specifically, is desired. A valid Georgia driver’s license is required. Minimum pay rate is $12.23 per hour. Position will be open until filled.
CASE MANAGER (PART-TIME) – ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
This position is responsible for providing case management and administrative support to the Bulloch County Mental Health Court (aka Bulloch County Accountability/Treatment Court) and its participants. Duties will include communication and interaction with program participants, judicial officials, and others; monitoring and ensuring program compliance; preparation of reports and other records; and assisting with policy development and special projects. A two-year degree in criminal justice, social services or psychology, along with one year of related experience in a legal, clinical or case management setting is desired. A valid Georgia driver’s license is required. Minimum pay rate is $13.49 per hour. Position will be open until filled.
AQUATIC GUEST SERVICES SUPERVISOR (FULL-TIME) – ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
This position is responsible for managing the Guest Services and Marketing operations at Splash in the Boro. Duties will include oversight of the front desk and gift shop, coordinating marketing of the park and its programs, facilitating special events, supervision of seasonal staff, and assistance with programmatic and operational needs of the facility. Preferred qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or Hospitality with two years of guest services, marketing and/or event promotions experience (or an Associate’s Degree with 4 years of experience). Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license. First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire, required. Starting pay is $15.65 per hour. Position will be open until filled.
AQUATIC MAINTENANCE WORKER (PART-TIME) – ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
This position is responsible for maintenance and minor repair activities on attractions, facilities and equipment at Splash in the Boro. Candidates must possess the ability to work independently to perform duties as assigned. Candidate must be able to work in an outdoor environment exposed to the elements including hot, cold, and wet or humid conditions. Experience working with tools or using equipment such as pressure washers and vacuum pumps is preferred. Candidates must have a valid Georgia driver’s license. Starting pay is $7.35 per hour. Position will be open until filled.
BUILDING SERVICE TECHNICIAN (FULL-TIME) – ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with cleaning, maintenance and repair of assigned buildings within the Parks & Recreation Division. Duties will also include stocking, refilling, and ordering supplies, removing trash and recycling materials from buildings, and setting up rooms for meetings and other events. Some related experience and/or training in custodial duties is preferred. A valid Georgia driver’s license is required. Pay rate is $10.03 per hour. Position will be open until filled.
JAIL-DEPUTY – SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT – (FULL-TIME) – 6 OPEN POSITIONS – ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
This position is responsible for prisoners, including initial search and issuing of clothing and bedding, classification, and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed, and appropriately filed and forwarded to the Shift Sergeant. This position supervises prisoners from initial intake/search, booking, housing/feeding/medication, transport, and reception duties. Positions will be open until filled. Starting pay rate is $12.28 hourly.
