CORRECTIONAL OFFICER – WORK DETAIL
POSITION STATUS: OPEN – ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
This position is responsible for supervising inmates involved in right-of-way maintenance on county roads. The duties of this position are varied; serving as a hand labor detail performing various duties including but not limited to picking up litter, maintaining drainage systems, clearing of vegetation (trees, limbs, weeds, grass, etc.). This position exercises supervisory control over inmates. Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Georgia, the ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license, and the ability to obtain P.O.S.T. Certification for Corrections Officers (CO) by the Georgia Department of Corrections within 6 months of hire date. P.O.S.T. Correctional Officer Certification is preferred. Certified Correctional Officers will be hired at $11.91 an hour.
Drug screening, background check, and driving history are required prior to hire.

WATER AEROBICS INSTRUCTOR
Splash in the Boro is looking for an energetic outgoing individual to teach a variation of water aerobics classes Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6:30p-8:15p. All applicants must have previous experience teaching aerobics either on dry land or in the water. Water teaching experience preferred, but not required. Certification preferred.
