Bulloch County EMS Mission Statement

Our mission at Bulloch County EMS (BCEMS) is to provide county-wide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care with minimal response times from first contact with 911 to on-scene arrival of EMS personnel.

The personnel of Bulloch County EMS provide pre-hospital treatment and care of both emergency and non-emergency calls for aid. The service also provides transport of patients to local and surrounding hospital facilities.

BCEMS prides itself on impeccable medical care provided throughout the greater community at public events and assemblies attended by the general public. It is our privilege to also provide mutual aid assistance to seven surrounding jurisdictions.

A high priority for our personnel is to maintain good community relations within our service area via health fairs, career days and many other community events at which the equipment and available specialized patient care techniques we provide are highlighted as well as instructing basic first aid and safety education training as requested.

We strive at all times to provide proactive medical response and support to critical and at-risk patients as determined by medical control protocols and guidelines when 911 contact is initiated. This is fulfilled by deploying a contingent of trained first-responders of the Bulloch County Fire Service throughout the outlying rural areas of the county.

As the population of Bulloch County experiences continued growth into the foreseeable future, EMS is dedicated along with the Board of Commissioners to long-term commitment of providing quality ALS medical care to both citizens and visitors alike with capable medical personnel available 24/7 utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and well maintained front line response vehicles critical for the needs and care of all patients.
