The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners will begin accepting applications for Opioid Settlement Grants starting Monday, September 15, 2025. These grants are funded through proceeds from state opioid settlements.
Bulloch County will soon accept applications for its “Opioid Reimbursement Grant” program funded by state opioid settlement proceeds. Eligible state and federally recognized nonprofit organizations can apply for funding to support expenses related to opioid abatement.
The settlement funds are designated for services, programs, or initiatives that have demonstrably reduced the impact of the opioid epidemic within Bulloch County. Eligible uses may include prevention, treatment, recovery support, harm reduction, and education efforts.
Applications will be accepted starting September 15, 2025, and will remain open through November 3rd. Awards of up to $50,000 per applicant will be considered, with funding provided annually until the allocation is exhausted

Eligibility
Applicants must be nonprofit organizations located in Bulloch County.
Organizations must provide opioid addiction treatment, prevention, or recovery services.
Eligible applicants may apply for up to $50,000.
